Meet our animal family

At Fur Feather Friends, our animals are at the heart of everything we do. Get to know the gentle souls who bring joy, education, and comfort to every visit. Each one has a special story and a unique personality!

Our mischievous pygmy goats: Elvis and Megatron

Prepare to be charmed by our delightful pygmy goats, Elvis and Megatron (a lesson in letting your child name a goat). These two are real crowd-pleasers with their playful antics and friendly demeanor. They love meeting new people and are fantastic at bringing smiles to faces wherever they go.

Our adventurous rescue hens: Princess Leia and Dora the Explorer

Meet our feathery friends, Princess Leia and Dora the Explorer! These hens are full of character and always a hit on visits. They are wonderful for demonstrating the simple joys of farm life and often provide fascinating insights into their natural behaviours.

Tiny sheep with big personalities: Tom, Ed, Jamie, and Lionel

Discover our charming Ouessant sheep, Tom, Ed, Jamie, and Lionel. These are the world's smallest sheep breed, making them incredibly unique and gentle to interact with.

Our kind and gentle Highland pony: Trowan Petal

Say hello to Trowan Petal, our magnificent Highland pony. Her intelligent and gentle nature makes her wonderful, grounding company. Highland Ponies are native to the mountains of Scotland. They are a rare breed, noted as ‘at risk’ with the Rare Breeds Survival Trust. Petal offers a wonderful opportunity for respectful interaction and a deeper connection with a larger farm animal.

Our cuddly guinea pigs: Emily and Margot

Meet the incredibly soft and sweet Emily and Margot, our resident guinea pigs. Their calm demeanor and adorable squeaks make them fantastic for quiet, comforting interactions, especially for those who prefer smaller, cuddlier companions.

Our loyal Labrador: Lulu

And let's not forget Lulu, our wonderful Labrador! A beloved member of our family, Lulu is loyal, gentle and affectionate. While she loves to greet visitors, her primary role is often as a comforting presence. Lulu doesn’t join us as standard on mobile farm visits but she does love an outing and meeting new friends, so please do let us know if you’d like her to attend when you make your booking.

Our commitment to animal welfare and safety

The well-being of our animal family is our top priority. All our animals live a happy life on a farm in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire. They are friendly, healthy, and exceptionally well cared for. We strictly adhere to DEFRA and APHA regulations to ensure the highest standards of welfare.

To guarantee their comfort, our animals attend visits on a rotation basis and receive regular breaks and downtime to regulate at longer visits and events. This ensures they are happy and comfortable at all times. While our animal family members are tame and well-socialised, animals can be unpredictable by nature. Therefore, it is important that all clients follow instructions from the Fur Feather Friends team during visits. Handwipes and gel are provided at every visit for your safety and hygiene.

Why our animals are perfect for your event

Our animals are more than just pets; they are cherished members of our family. There is rarely a day when they fail to make us laugh, their engaging personalities create memorable experiences for everyone.
